The Vidyadhan Scholarship Program offers financial support ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 60,000 per year, depending on your state, course, duration, and other factors. This program is designed to assist economically weaker families. To select 5,000 students, a small test is conducted across the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, New Delhi, and Ladakh.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program Offered by Sarojini Damodaran Foundation. it helps the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged Students. This scheme also helpful for the students employment generation.

Free Scholarship 2024

If you are interested and meet the eligibility criteria, you must carefully read the full notification to understand the selection process and scholarship amount details. Shortlisted candidates will receive their hall tickets via email.

TN scholarship 2024 eligibility

For 11th and 12th grades, the scholarship amount is up to Rs. 10,000 per year.
For college students, the amount can go up to Rs. 60,000 per year, depending on the course (e.g., Arts, Science, Engineering).
Your family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2,00,000.
You must have completed the 10th grade/SSC exam in 2023 from Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, New Delhi, or Ladakh.

You need scanned copies of the following documents:

10th Marksheet (provisional/online marksheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website is acceptable if the original is not available)
Income Certificate (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted)
Photograph

Additional Requirements by State

Tamil Nadu / Puducherry: Minimum 80% in 10th Std / SSLC or 90% / 9+ CGPA for CBSE students. For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 60%.
Telangana / Karnataka / Andhra Pradesh: Minimum 90% or 9 CGPA in 10th Grade/SSC. For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 75% or 7.5 CGPA.
Odisha: Minimum 80% or 8 CGPA in 10th Grade/SSC. For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 65% or 6.5 CGPA.
Bihar: Minimum 75% or 7.5 CGPA in 10th Grade/SSC BSEB. For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 65% or 6.5 CGPA.

Scholarship Details

The Foundation offers a two-year scholarship, renewable for those who continue to perform well. Scholarships for graduation degrees range from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 60,000 per year, depending on various factors. Selected students must participate in the Foundation’s mentoring programs.

Selection Process

The SDF will screen applications based on academic performance and information provided in the application form. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview.

To apply for the scholarship program, you must have a personal email account. DO NOT use an email address from a cyber café/DTP center as all communications will be sent to your registered email address. If you don’t have an email address, create one at www.gmail.com or another email service provider.

How to Apply Scholarship Program

If You Like to apply Scholarship Program, you must have a personal email account. DO NOT USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE CYBER CAFE/DTP CENTRE AS ALL FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE SENT TO THE REGISTERED EMAIL ADDRESS.
If you do not already have an email address, please create one at www.gmail.com or another email service provider.
Please remember the email login and password for future reference.
When creating a new account, you will be prompted for information such as:

Please include your first name as it appears on your educational records.
Last Name: Please include your last name as it appears on your educational records.
Please include your email address and remember to check this account on a regular basis for our notifications. Use the email address for future logins.
Vidyadhan Password: For the user name you created above, please use a complex password. The password must be at least 8 characters long. This password is not the same as the password you set up for your email address.
You must use the email id and vidyadhan password you created the next time you log into the vidyadhan programme.
Please keep it in mind and do not write it anywhere for security reasons. If you forget your password, go to the Home Page and click the “Forgot Password” link.
Select the “Apply Now” button. An email containing an account activation link will be sent to your email address.
Please open a new window and check your email for the account activation email. Click on the activation link in the email. This will bring up the home page with the phrase “Account is activated” and a login form to continue.
Please login using the email address and vidyadhan password that you submitted in Step 2 above while creating a new account.
After logging in, a “Help” link will appear in the main menu. You can read help and instructions for building, updating, and tracking an application by clicking on that link.
To create your application, please select the relevant scholarship programme from the list of available programmes and click the ‘Apply Now’ option.
After you’ve created the application, you can edit it and make changes by clicking on the Edit Application button at the top of the screen.
When you finish the application and submit it, you will get the message “submission successful.” Please keep in mind that the application will not be considered complete unless you upload the required documents and a photograph.
