a) Science Subjects:

OR - Diploma in Engineering: Candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Instrumentation Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology) from a Central, State, or UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Diploma Course (or in Intermediate (12th)/Matriculation (10th) if English was not a subject in the Diploma Course).
OR - Vocational Course: Candidates must have passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics from a Central, State, or UT recognized Education Board, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation (10th) if English was not a subject in the Vocational Course).
b) Other than Science Subjects:
